In the iceclad realm of Canada, where the land, the sea and sky converge; four young men step forth from scarlet mists to propagate their scourge. As the sun begins to rise on 2016, VESPERIA have already met with international praise and repute by the primal incantation that is their vast and resplendent sound.”

Established in 2012 by lead vocalist/ bassist Morgan Rider, VESPERIA have ascended at an unsettling velocity. Gathering the ashes of their former musical outlets, VESPERIA immediately mustered their inspirations and released a small self-financed demo entitled The Swordsman, receiving mixed national reviews and placing their first foothold in the global markets. Clearly the newfangled group had stumbled upon something fresh – and the remainder of 2012 was spent composing and rehearsing new material, which would become their first album.

In the summer of 2013 – with a newly solidified lineup – the band unleashed their first album AN OLDEN TALE and immediately hit the road with Crimson Shadows – whom of which they shared members with – this being both band’s first tour. These efforts won the band new fans across Canada and eminent reviews worldwide, forging VESPERIA  blossoming venerable repute.
In the midst of 2014, the band took a short hiatus for live performance while Morgan Rider continued to perform across North America and Europe with Crimson Shadows. This gave the remaining members a chance to prepare the band’s latest addition – drummer Dylan Gowan – for the band’s formulating stratagem. While Morgan returned to the fold that winter, the band was free to recommence.

As 2015 dawned, the band was already deluged deeply in the rehearsal of new material while preparing their new live show. This culminated in an EP entitled THE IRON TEMPESTS, followed by a brief eastern Canadian tour. VESPERIA also won the opportunity to perform at the prestigious WACKEN OPEN AIR, where they won the title of International Wacken Champions – triumphing over 30 bands from around the world. This was also accompanied by a full Canadian tour, large local support shows, a new music video, glowing international reviews and features in Canadian and German national television. The final months of 2015 were spent on the road continuing to support the latest CD on a second Eastern Canadian tour.

Now, after many recent and tremendous feats that VESPERIA have counted among their growth spurts, the band is now poised to subjugate the Earth with their colossal brand of Epic Canadian Metal!
