BIO
Pink Cocoon is a power trio lead by 22-year-old Zolla Marc from Montreal, Canada. “Doom Blues” is the preferred description for a style focusing on heavy, bluesy riffs with touch of doom and catchy melodies.  The live band lineup is the classic 3-piece setup with Zolla Marc on guitar/lead vocals with a revolving line up on bass and drums.

Pink Cocoon initially started off during the summer of 2016 as a solo studio project writing, performing and producing the entire Alienation EP.

Some of Pink Cocoon’s influences range from Jimi hendrix, Black Sabbath, Nirvana, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Pentagram, Electric Wizard, the Pretty Reckless, Robin Trower, Frank Marino, Blue Cheer, the Distillers, Motorhead, Black label Society, Reignwolf… list goes on.. Mash all these bands in a blender with a twist of modern yet old school sound and that is the Pink Cocoon Experience.

Concerning live performance, the band is loud and uses full stack amplification so the audience can engulf themselves into the Pink Cocoon experience playing every gig like their last. Feedback and sustain is also necessary. The band’s first live performance was April 21, 2017 in Montreal and has played over 50 gigs in the first year. Currently independent, supported by Hiwattage Booking and Clawhammer PR.
